    Great question Chuck, thanks…

    Although there is little downside to allowing the fan to run in the winter months (ventilate moisture, refresh attic air) there is an optional thermal switch that prevents the fan from operating when the attic temperature goes below 60 degrees.

    what happens in cold weather? does the fan operate if the outside weather is 35 degrees?
